Vat Refund Service
Working away today building links for some sites, the main being for a vat refund company. Mostly building links is slow and hard going. So why build links for a web site?
The thing about building links is that it gets more visitors to your site, it does not keep them on the site or make them buy anything, but it just gets your site noticed in the search engine - for example Google. Therefore this is one of the main areas in building a good on-line presence. It is sometimes argued that it is the most important factor, but that is not true.
You can get visitors on to your web site - but if they see it is not the information that they are looking for they will be gone in 1 or 2 seconds. This is where the content come in. There is no real point to a web site if it does not have great content for the visitors to the site. My best sites are sites that I have written myself in areas that I am interested in - that interest come through in the writing.
So go - build a great site and worry about the rest later.
