Mobile Broadband
I have just set up mobile broadband. I have had it running for three days now and I am amazed. I have been using Eircom for the last year and it sucks - I think it has to be the slowest broadband in the whole of Europe. The speed was 824kb per sec. My new broadband is 7.2mb per second!
What a difference. I had held back on buying this as I though that the speed would not be as advertised and would have intermittent service. But no it is great and it is great to have the browser work like it should. I have not had this speed on my computer since I moved back from Prague, where I was using G3 which is quicker than the broadband offered by Ericom. Additionally the new service can be just plugged into my laptop and be used anywhere - well almost anywhere in Europe - not too bad.
And who is it - O2.
