Four Days In Prague
Sitting here in front of the computer after four days in Prague and my head is not really in the work mode. I am lucky that I love work I do, mostly, but some days like anyone else the energy is low - and last weekend was a bit exhausting.
I often look forward to heading off to Prague to see people we have not seen for a while and to enjoy a break from our normal everyday routine. However I always forget that we rarely have any time to ourselves. Anna has family and many friends there and she wants to see as much of them as possible, which ultimately leads to a weekend without rest.
Not speaking Czech does not help. Saturday we attended a wedding, my first Czech wedding; as you would expect every one around me spoke Czech - though many also speak English, but it is not like normal conversation, for them or me. I received a present during the weekend - a Czech language workbook, just when Anna and I had been talking last week about how we will start on some lessons for me.
Anyway, I just think that when I am this tired everything I write will be dull and uninteresting, but the writing has to be done and this is the place to get me back into it today. Today I need to finish the new design on my Camino site - so much better now that it has ever been.
How was your weekend?
