Lying here on the couch wrapped in my duvet, nose running and getting sore from blowing it all the time – thinking those bloody Lemsip people are liars. I watch them on the TV, one lemsip later and there they are out conquering the world still with their PJ’s on. Lemsip – sort the men from the boys? What kind of ad is that. Anyway it is only a cold and it’s just doing what colds do – it will soon be gone.
1st April. Go and get me a left hand screwdriver. One of the things I was told while an apprentice many years ago – however I was just to cynical to even start to be pulled in by that sort of thing.
If you have been here before you will notice the new theme that has now been loaded – so have a cold and stuck to the one place means I can play on the computer for a while. I was getting load of crap from spammer so decided today to do something about it and installed a few plugins from WordPress. It is easy, the only problem I have had recently is the time to sit down and do it.
Because of the cold I have not been out walking this weekend – last weekend out both days in the Wicklow Hill, they are beautiful and everything is growing and starting to bloom, it is good to get out away from the city, enjoy the peace in nature that is only a short drive away from me.
Last thing – getting older – trying to stay away from the phrase getting old – my reason for this, needed new specs for reading and the computer – fine otherwise so really can’t complain. So new specs adorn my face today. One day I might even put up a picture…
