Two days this week I have had to drive what I consider fairly short distances. Out to rathcoole one day and the other out to Maynooth. The traffic, I can report, in Dublin does not get any better.
After moving back into the city, I have used the car considerably less, preferring to cycle around Dublin, quicker and cheaper. So one hour from the Dublin city centre to Rathcoole, and just over an hour to get to Maynooth, and both took longer to get back in.
Don’t ever expect to get anywhere quickly in a car in this city.
