I have had the pleasure this week of driving through the Dublin port tunnel. Bloody great I say. Okay so it took some time, way over due, and cost some amount, something like 5 times budget – but hey try driving to the airport using the tunnel – it is wonderful. Many other countries I have visited through-out Europe have many tunnels, under cities and through mountains, costly perhaps, however sometimes there is no other way.
I have one complaint – I would have to! It is just a tad expensive. €6 at off peak times – but bloody hell €12 at peak times for cars. Give us a break please.
