Tired, tired, tired…
Left Vancouver Saturday noon about 12.30 and arrived back in Dublin after two flights this morning at 8am. I am trying to stay awake all day and not suffer for a few days with the change in my sleep pattern.
But, as usual, when getting home after holidays we had to do some shopping, nothing in the fridge and food is still required. In Canada I was starting to get annoyed at the over friendliness, the interruptions to my food a thousand times to answer inane questions on “how is the food” and many variations of the same.
But here I am back in Dublin and just about feel like I have not been away – the noise of the cars, people walking into you in the shops – the ubiquitous Irish sorry – so left Tesco feeling like I could do with something in between the over friendliness of Vancouver and the rudeness of Dublin.
Strange this how I feel about the city I live in – I like living here and this country is an easy place to live. If I really hated it I would go somewhere else. Just very tired I think.
