Monday Again – Smoking?

by Leslie on January 14, 2008

The month is disappearing far too quickly. I have hardly got started on my plans for the month and I seem to have an inbuilt resistance to finishing – or even working on – one particular project. Oddly enough it is a project that has the potential to make some nice money long term and I just can’t keep my bum on the chair and write.

The weekend was quiet – sat in front of the computer a lot of the time – I am looking forward to some better weather to get out into the hills again – instead of just writing about them. I miss the peace of walking in the countryside – we do get out most days for a walk in the neighborhood – but it does not compare in any way to the hills.

Patch on my back again this morning. I hate this day after day failing – of smoking again and again. I put the patch on and it lasts from 2hrs to 5hrs at the most – so now it is 11am – lets see how this goes.

I thought I was so cool at 15 smoking – although the taste was disgusting – I was your typical rebel teenager – without a clue – I look back on myself with pity sometimes. Anyway smoking, I will keep trying – and the laugh is that currently it is costing me twice each day – for the cigarettes and then again for the patches. Madness I say madness.
